Terms of Service
1. Who we are
Kudu is an independently operated service available at kudu.legal. Our mailing address is Kudu Legal, 395 Sawdust Rd, Unit #6052, Spring, TX 77380, United States. You can reach us at hello@kudu.legal. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What the service is
Kudu offers a free AI visibility check that produces a report page, a paid one-time audit of your website and your visibility, and a full-service engagement in which we carry out the work. Prices are published on the services page. The free check asks AI tools the questions a prospective client might ask and records the answers. Audits and full-service work are delivered at a private link.
3. No legal advice, no guarantees
Nothing on this site is legal advice. Reports describe what third-party AI tools said at the time we asked. We do not guarantee rankings, mentions, placements, or any business outcome, and we do not promise that any AI tool will name your firm in the future.
4. Third-party AI systems
Report results come from ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Perplexity. Those systems change without notice, and the same question can produce different answers at different times. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, OpenAI, Google, or Perplexity.
5. Free check submissions
When you submit the free check form, you confirm that the information you enter is accurate and that you may lawfully request a check for that firm. We may decline, rate-limit, or remove checks that look abusive or automated.
6. Report pages
Free-check reports live at shareable links. Anyone who has the link can view the report. Do not submit confidential or sensitive information through the form. If you want a report taken down, contact us and we will remove it.
7. Prices, the audit, and full service
Prices are published on the services page in US dollars and do not include any tax that applies to you. We can change a published price at any time. A change never applies to a term you have already paid for, and we will tell you in writing at least 30 days before it affects a renewal.
The audit is a one-time fee covering every practice area and city your firm serves, and it includes the written plan. If you start full service within 90 days of delivery, the audit fee is credited in full against your first invoices until it is used up. After 90 days it is not credited.
Full service is scoped and priced in writing for your firm before any work starts, and is invoiced monthly in advance. It carries a minimum term of 12 months because it includes building and hosting a website. After that term it runs month to month, and either of us can end it with 30 days' notice.
Audit and full-service deliverables are private to you unless we agree otherwise in writing. You may share the written plan with your own developer, agency, or staff. Content we write for a website you own stays yours if you leave. A website we built and host stops being hosted when the engagement ends, and we will hand over the content on request.
8. Acceptable use
- No scraping the site or reports with automated tools.
- No bulk or automated submissions to the free check form.
- No presenting a report as an endorsement by Kudu or by any AI provider.
- No using the service to harass, mislead, or harm anyone.
9. Intellectual property
The site, its content, and the report format belong to us. Your firm's name and the information you submit remain yours. You may share your own report link freely.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages such as lost profits or lost business.
11. Indemnification
If your misuse of the service causes a third party to bring a claim against us, you agree to cover the costs and damages that result.
12. Termination and changes to the service
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, and we may refuse service where these terms are violated.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If a dispute about these terms or the service goes to court, it will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Montgomery County, Texas, and you and we each agree to appear in those courts.
14. Changes to these terms
When we update these terms, we change the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
