Privacy Policy

This policy is a working draft and is being reviewed by counsel.

1. What we collect

2. How we use it

3. Who processes it for us

A few service providers handle data on our behalf. None of them may use your data for their own marketing.

4. Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics sets cookies to measure visits. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics entirely.

5. Report pages are shareable

The firm name, city, practice area, and results of a free check appear on a report page that anyone with the link can view. Your email address never appears on the report. If you want a report removed, contact us and we will take it down.

6. How long we keep it

We keep checks, reports, and correspondence while they are useful for running the service. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, local law gives you these rights formally, including the right to complain to a regulator. We do not sell personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@kudu.legal.

8. Children

The service is for law firms and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

When we update this policy, we change the date at the top of this page. Meaningful changes will be flagged on the site.
